Brain Stimulation Therapies

Course description: course offers understanding of different modalities using Brain Stimulation as their basis of function. The course is essential for anyone who is interested in learning the most up to date information on Brain Stimulation Modalities and their Therapeutic uses. Through this course we will discuss how each of the brain stimulation modality is used, understand their basic function and effect on brain and review the therapeutic use in different disorders.

Day 4: How to Determine the Right Dosing of Brain Stimulation

Day 9: Deep Brain Stimulation and Cortical Stimulation

Day 10: Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation

Day 11: Summery and comparison of Brain Stimulation Modalities

  • ECT vs TMS
  • DBS vs Cortical Stimulation and TDCS

Course Delivery:

Course will be delivered by lectures involving interactive methods, review of case studies, critical review of ongoing research studies. The comprehensive literature on Brain Stimulation will be administered in easy to understand manner, with the use of graphs and images.

Assessment:

Participants will be assessed during the course and at the end of the course by administration of online test.

Certification:

Participants who successfully complete the course will be rewarded with a certificate.

Eligibility:

Anyone who has background in healthcare or currently involved in undergraduate program.

After the successful completion of the training , you will receive international certificate.
